SWP Secure microSD

SWP stands for Single Wire Protocol which is the standard communication interface between a NFC chip and a secure element smart card. SWP uses PIN 9 and the NFC voltage is in PIN 10. The smart card must support both SPI and SWP interface simultaneously. SWP SIM can only be issued by operator and while the SWP secure microSD can be issued by the banking industry or a third-party payment organization such as a regional transportation system.
China Union Pay is the first International payment organization to publish standards for SWP microSD and GO-Trust®, working with our Chinese partner, is the first company to deliver working product that is compliant with this specification. This solution was deployed early in 2011. There are over 5 different types of mobile phones including HTC and TCL that support NFC phones interoperating with SWP microSD.
